This Advanced File Manager is a very handy mod for those who sell digital products. This mod features access control, which is essential for those who have multiple vendors. I made thi s mod for myself to use in my online 3D models store where I have over 300 vendors and over 2000 product files. From my experience - this mod will make the life of store manager and vendors much, much easier!
The list of features:

• Support for folders. This means that you can create and browse folders underneath /files/uploads path. You can drill down into folders, see files in each folder separately
• Configurable Upload filesize limitation. This is configurable through admin panel
• Configurable restriction on MIME types that can be uploaded. The restriction can be turned off, if you leave the MIME types field empty
• Access control! For each non-super admin user this mod creates a subfolder underneath /files/uploads folder.
• Protection agains direct linking! This mod includes .htaccess file that will protect hackers from stealing files in /files/uploads folder through direct linking

This mod has been tested on cubecart 3.0.10 with In-House affiliates and Downloadable Product Options mods.

Important Nonte: Access control part might not be able to automatically create folders for admin users if PHP is running in safe mode. This can be solved in two ways:

•  make sure that /files folder is owned by web server user (nobody in Apache case) and that web server has permissions to create files and folders in /files/uploads
• or give each of your vendors an ftp account that will restrict them to their subfolders in /files/uploads. Subfolder names are generated using the pattern "aff"+admin_id. I.e., a vendor whose admin user id is 5 will have a folder /files/uploads/aff5
